Terms of service
Draft under legal review. Not in effect. The final version will be published before CraftKeep collects any account or payment details.
About these terms
These terms of service are an agreement between you and Mobieus Partners LLC dba CraftKeep ("CraftKeep", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the CraftKeep website at mycraftkeep.com and the CraftKeep cloud library service (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms, to our privacy policy, to our acceptable use policy and to our copyright and content concerns policy.
Who can use CraftKeep
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use CraftKeep on behalf of a business, club or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
CraftKeep may decline to open, or may close, any account at its sole discretion. Some people may never hold a CraftKeep or MobieusIDP account. Mobieus Partners keeps a confidential list of these people. The list is not published and is not open to review, appeal or change, except as Mobieus Partners decides at its own discretion. A person on the list may not create or use a CraftKeep account in any way, including through someone else's account or with a different email address.
Your account
CraftKeep uses MobieusIDP to handle sign-up and sign-in. CraftKeep does not store your password. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure, including any passkeys or authenticator apps you set up, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know through our contact page if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Please keep the information on your account accurate so we can reach you about your library, billing and security.
Your content stays yours
The files you upload, along with their names, folders, notes and other details you add, are your content. You keep all ownership rights in your content.
To run the service, you give CraftKeep a limited permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share with. This includes creating thumbnails and previews, indexing your files for search, keeping backups and preparing exports you request. This permission ends when your content is deleted from the service, subject to the deletion process described in our privacy policy.
Your library is private by default. Nothing you upload is visible to other people until you choose to share it.
You are responsible for having the rights to upload, store and share your content. Many craft designs come with licenses from their designers, and sharing in CraftKeep is designed to respect those licenses. See our copyright and content concerns policy for details.
Plans and pricing
CraftKeep offers the following plans. All prices are in US dollars per month.
- Free: $0. No payment card needed.
- Hobbyist: $5.99 per month, month-to-month.
- Maker: $11.99 per month, month-to-month.
- Pro: $24.99 per month, with a 12-month minimum term billed monthly.
- Studio: $59.99 per month, with a 12-month minimum term billed monthly.
- Guild: custom-quoted for clubs, guilds and groups.
For Pro and Studio, the 12-month minimum term is a commitment to 12 monthly payments. It is not an annual prepayment.
Maker, Pro and Studio subscribers can add storage in 50 GB blocks at $5.99 per month each.
Billing and payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. CraftKeep never receives your full card number. By choosing a paid plan, you authorize recurring monthly charges for your plan and any add-ons until your subscription ends under these terms.
Changing or canceling your plan
Hobbyist and Maker are month-to-month plans.
Storage limits
Each plan includes the storage shown on the pricing page.
Exporting and deleting your library
You can download your files at any time while your account is active. When you close your account or a paid plan ends, we will tell you how long you have to export your library before your content is permanently deleted.
Acceptable use
You agree to use CraftKeep in line with our acceptable use policy. In short: do not upload malware, do not distribute content you do not have the rights to share, do not abuse sharing or bandwidth, and do not try to access anyone else's data.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using CraftKeep and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access to the service, or remove specific content, if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or the acceptable use policy, or if we need to protect the service, other users or the public. Where it is appropriate and practical, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond or to export your content.
We may also refuse or end service at our sole discretion, including for anyone on the confidential list described in "Who can use CraftKeep". In that case we are not required to give a reason.
Changes to the service and these terms
CraftKeep is growing, and some features, such as guilds, are not yet available. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will let you know in advance.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We work hard to keep your library safe and available, with backups stored in a second region. Even so, we encourage you to keep your own copies of files that matter to you.
