CraftKeep plans and prices, extra storage blocks, how the 12-month minimum on Pro and Studio works, and how payments are handled by Stripe.

Updated

CraftKeep launches soon. This guide describes how it works at launch.

CraftKeep plans are priced mainly by how much storage you need, with no charge per file or per format. Every plan includes search, previews and organization, and you can download your files at any time.

Free needs no card

You can sign up for Free without entering any payment details. Free is a good way to try CraftKeep with a few design packages, and you can move to a paid plan whenever you are ready.

Month-to-month plans

Hobbyist and Maker are month-to-month. You pay each month and are not committed beyond the current month.

Pro and Studio: 12-month minimum term

Pro and Studio have a 12-month minimum term, billed monthly. This is a commitment to 12 monthly payments, not an annual prepayment. You pay the monthly price each month, and the term runs for at least 12 months.

Extra storage

If you need more room, you can add storage in 50 GB blocks at $5.99 per month each. Extra storage blocks are available on the Maker, Pro and Studio plans. On Pro and Studio, the plan itself keeps its 12-month minimum term, billed monthly, as described above.

Guilds

Guild plans give a club, guild or group a shared library and are quoted for each group. Guild pricing is custom, so contact sales through the contact page. Guilds arrive in a later release; see Sharing and guilds and CraftKeep for guilds.

How payments work

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you choose a paid plan, you enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout, not on CraftKeep. CraftKeep never sees or stores your card number. Your paid plan becomes active once Stripe confirms the payment.

Upgrading

You can move up to a larger plan as your collection grows. Your designs, organization and history all stay exactly where they are; you simply get more room.

Cancellation, downgrades and payment issues

The details of cancelling, moving to a smaller plan and what happens if a payment does not go through are shown to you before you buy, and are published on the pricing page at launch.

Your designs stay protected: CraftKeep does not delete your files because a payment does not go through.

Checking your storage

The app shows how much storage you are using, with active files, earlier versions and Trash listed separately. See Recovering deleted files and versions.
